February, 2013: After graduation from Seneca, I attended Eckerd College (founded as Florida Presbyterian College) in St. Petersburg, Fla. After graduation in '67,  I married and moved to Ann Arbor, Mi where I taught Spanish for 2 years prior to staying home with daughter, Carolyn, and son, Nathan. I completed a Masters in school media at the University of Michigan in 1982, but never actually used that degree professionally. I divorced and have now been married to Bob Ongaro for 34 years. Our son, Anthony, just married last August and we went to Taiwan in January to meet our new daughter-in-law's extended family who were unable to come to the wedding. We have 4 grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them. I had a 30 year career teaching Spanish at Ypsilanti High School, and sponsored many trips to Hispanic countries during that career. I retired in 2006, and Bob and I have traveled quite a bit.  I volunteer at Ten Thousand Villages, a fair trade-non profit store in downtown Ann Arbor. I also do a bit of organic gardening. Somehow the days pass too quickly and our 50th will be here before we know it.
