Hello Class of 63,

Since high school I went straight into the working world.  Some of my occupations included, clerical, accounting, small animal care and facilities.  In 1979 I went to work at two different local animal hospital, love taking care of everyone’s pets.  My 11 years at animal hospitals satisfy my desire to work with animals.  I left the animal care career to go to work for C&I Engineering where I have been for 20 years.  Lord willing I will retire from there, I’m not ready to stop work just of yet.

I married after graduation to a fellow I met as a junior at Seneca and we married soon after.  In 1964 our son was born, Clifford.  In 1968 we were divorced.  Cliff and I lived on our own for about of nine years.  In 1977 I met Alan LeClaire while working at KAEC.   Alan and I married in 1978.  Thirty-five year later we are still together.

My son Cliff is retired from the Louisville Fire Department. He and Lynette are raising two girls, Lauren is 20 and in her second year at U of L, to become a pediatric nurse.  Amanda is a sophomore at Mercy High school and just turned the big 16.

Alan and I have a home in Four Season neighborhood.  We will have lived there 19 years.  Alan is an office manager for a small retail shop and besides working for C&I Engineering, a consulting engineering firm, I’m on the Four Season Neighborhood Association board as their treasure.

I enjoy gardening, walking with our Dalmatian, reading and studying the Bible also its history, and archaeology.  We are members of Southeast Christian Church, Blankenbaker campus.

Our future plans, one day, will be to go to Israel and see some of the places I’ve been reading about.
