I skipped senior year to attend U.K. I missed a lot, especially the basketball championship, but I am happy I got to attend the prom and participate in graduation. I remember with fondness many classmates and also special teachers: Mrs. James, Mr. Matthews, and Mr. Freer. I love Louisville and visit Sherrie Kruse each year and see Evie Whitworth and other friends. I was blessed to grow up in such a great place with such fine people.

After Lexington, I lived for a year in central California and then in wonderful San Antonio, Texas, before settling in Memphis in the early 70s. I married Larry Feldmann, and we have a daughter and now 2 grandsons, the lights of my life. I taught history for a quarter-century, and Larry and I traveled abroad quite a bit, mostly to western Europe, but also to Russia and Japan. I had a stroke at 52; recovered quite well, but now I limit my travel to flying around this country visiting my favorite people and limit my work to church, DAR and other old-lady stuff, and checking on my 90+ mother who lives nearby.

Hope the 50th reunion is a success, and I look forward to hearing all about it from Sherrie and Evie.
