I graduated from the University of Louisville in 1967 and joined the U.S.
Army. Upon my honorable discharge in August, 1970, I started my banking career with the First National Bank of Louisville. I retired as Head of
International Dept of Cleveland based KeyBank in April 2000, only to accept a similar position as Head of International for Atlanta based SunTrust.
I greatly enjoyed my career which provided me the opportunity to promote International trade with emphasis on financing the export sales of US based clients. I traveled overseas and domestically quite often.
I retired for a second (and last!) time from SunTrust in April 2005 and chose to return then to Louisville which is my and my wife of 35 years’ hometown. Helen and I have two children, Marcie, 32, and Jeffrey, 27.
