After Seneca I received a BA from Duke where I married George who was getting a law degree. Facing the Viet Nam draft, George entered the Army JAG as a Captain and served almost four years in the Pentagon Office of the Judge Advocate General.
I took advantage of George's time at the Pentagon to get my MA at A.U. (Thought I might teach Poli Sci some day but ended up in this real estate stuff instead). And while George was stationed there we had our first child, born at Walter Reed in DC in 1972. He's a lawyer in the DC area with degrees from Wake Forest and American.
After
the service George practiced law in Columbus OH before we joined his parents in
a real estate business in his hometown of Parkersburg WV.
Our
daughter, Kelly, was born in 1978. She's a Certified Financial Analyst in Manhattan
after graduating from Harvard, her father's Alma Mater.
We
stay busy with a 40 unit townhouse complex but prefer the golf course or the
tennis courts or hiking trips here and abroad.
