After
graduating from the University of Missouri, I returned to Louisville and taught
business education subjects at Eastern and Seneca.
My
husband of nearly 40 years, Allan and I then settled in St. Louis. We have two
children; Jason who is the web manager for the Jewish Community Centers of
Chicago; and Shelby who received her PhD in cell and molecular biology, and
works with her husband, Dr. David O'Connor at the University of Wisconsin in
his SIV/AIDS research lab.
Allan
and I have had a retail tabletop and gift store in St. Louis for the past 25
years. We are expecting our first grandchild in September. We certainly have
been kept busy.
