Just
so you know, we didn’t date in high school. Or college. Graduated in 1967 with
a degree in English and polysci, with a teaching certificate that landed me in
Aberdeen, MD for a year; then worked in biotechnology research in Washington DC
before Greg and I married.
Worked
for the Justice Department before going to law school; graduated from George
Washington with a JD in 1975. Have practiced part time with two real estate development
companies since then.
We
have three daughters: Kate, a Presbyterian minister in Charlotte, NC; Amanda,
in government relations with eBay in Washington, DC, and Alexandra, also in
Washington and working as a congressional press secretary. Kate’s (Colin
Murphy) beautiful daughter, Calloway, is almost two and the most amazing
granddaughter ever born.
Hobbies:
reading, cooking, gardening, moving children around from home to college to
graduate school to apartments to homes; visiting Callie. Favorite Seneca
teachers: Mrs. James (Greg’s too) and Mr. Matthews. And Mr. Buscheri, because
he paddled my little brother as often as necessary.
