Following
graduation from Syracuse University in 1967, I moved to Chicago where I worked
as a copywriter, married, then moved back to Louisville where I worked at
WLKY-TV while my husband attended UL Law School. Following a break of seven
years as a “stay-at-home” mom, I taught English composition at University of
Louisville, produced communications seminars for area businesses, and currently
run a typesetting/ print design business. I’m very proud of my husband, attorney
Al Wax, and our 39-year marriage; our two children, Michael, an assistant camp
director and attorney, and Jennifer, an exercise physiologist and occupational
therapist; our two preschool grandsons; and my private pilot’s license. In my
free time, I enjoy punching holes in the sky with family and friends in my
Cessna 172.
