I
graduated from UK in 1966 with a degree in Elementary Ed. then married Bob Cox,
(Fern Creek, class of 1960). You might remember Bobby's younger brother Maurice
from Seneca.
I
taught 1st grade at Audubon Elementary for 4 years then became the mother of Amy,
born 1970, and Ashley, born 1975. Amy now lives in Charlotte, NC with her
husband Fred Parker and our 2 grandchildren Alex, 10years, and Libby 7. Ashley
works for Waterfront Development Corp. here in Louisville.
I
went back to work for 13 years as librarian at Portland Elementary and retired
about 9 or 10 years ago. Retirement is great! Now I love to read, play golf,
work on genealogy and spoil our Golden Retriever, Jack. I'm also known as
"Tim the Tool Man" by my husband who is a great yard guy but not
exactly a Mr. Fix It.
