After graduation I did my part to support most of the higher education institutions around Kentucky including University of Kentucky, Western Kentucky University, University of Louisville, and Bellarmine College.

While at U of L, I ran with an interesting crowd for a short time, one of which was a journalism major and at the time was a friend with author Hunter S. Thompson; whom at the time was a young writer researching for the book "Hell's Angels On Wheels."

After other various interesting jobs around Louisville, I was living and had a job based out of Chicago, which lasted a year. After becoming fed up with the Chicago winter and what was called "The Hawk" (the lake wind that went right through you!), my calling to sunny Florida became a reality due to family illness and the insistence of relatives to move to Hollywood, Florida.

Starting my Real Estate career in 1969 via the Savings and Loan/Banking business I learned the art of Real Estate appraisal. At the same time, I was learning real estate brokerage, management and development.

Spending many years with several institutions, I worked until 1994 with California Federal S & L-Southeast Division based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, as Vice President of commercial real estate appraisal. At this time of major bank mergers my decision was made to go fulltime into the family 60±-year-old Real Estate business in Hollywood, Florida.

I joined the International Federation of Realtors (FIABBCI) back then and each year traveled to a different foreign country to meet and learn how Brokers around the world deal in real estate.

Since the recent passing of my uncle, the founder of the business, I have assumed the position of principal Realtor/licensed Real Estate Broker.

We have two children; Jason who is the web manager for the Jewish Community Centers of Chicago; and Shelby who received her PhD in cell and molecular biology, and works with her husband, Dr. David O'Connor at the University of Wisconsin in his SIV/AIDS research lab.

Allan and I have had a retail tabletop and gift store in St. Louis for the past 25 years. We are expecting our first grandchild in September. We certainly have been kept busy.

Just so you know, we didn’t date in high school. Or college. Graduated in 1967 with a degree in English and polysci, with a teaching certificate that landed me in Aberdeen, MD for a year; then worked in biotechnology research in Washington DC before Greg and I married.

Worked for the Justice Department before going to law school; graduated from George Washington with a JD in 1975. Have practiced part time with two real estate development companies since then.

We have three daughters: Kate, a Presbyterian minister in Charlotte, NC; Amanda, in government relations with eBay in Washington, DC, and Alexandra, also in Washington and working as a congressional press secretary. Kate’s (Colin Murphy) beautiful daughter, Calloway, is almost two and the most amazing granddaughter ever born.

Hobbies: reading, cooking, gardening, moving children around from home to college to graduate school to apartments to homes; visiting Callie. Favorite Seneca teachers: Mrs. James (Greg’s too) and Mr. Matthews. And Mr. Buscheri, because he paddled my little brother as often as necessary.

Since graduating Seneca, I have never left Louisville. My life has taken several twists and turns.

I attended U of L and started a long career as a DJ, cutting my teeth on a small station (WCND) in Shelbyville, KY. I then got a job at WSTM-FM (now known as WRKA) where I started as a DJ, became program director and eventually operations manager while maintaining an air shift under the name of Dave Adler.

During this time, I had the good fortune of interviewing numerous celebrities including, The Carpenters, Sergio Mendes, John Marley, Ed Ames, Roger Miller and one of my favorite interviews, Tony Bennett. I still have the tapes somewhere in the vast collection of junk I've amassed over these years.

I then took a job as a DJ and production manager at WAVE Radio, also doing announcing for WAVE-TV and later on announcing for WLKY-TV. I also have done numerous voice-overs for both radio and TV commercials which I continue to do today.

My next job was at a Louisville ad agency for 19 years where I became Vice President and five years ago, became Vice President of another agency where I still work today. My principal job is new business development but have written, produced and directed numerous radio and TV commercials. I still enjoy the challenges of the agency business.

Nearly 30 years ago, I married my wife Joani. We have two sons, Jeff and Mark, both living in Houston, TX, and three beautiful grandchildren!

My hobbies include playing the keyboards and composing music. I enjoy walking daily and can be found playing on the computer more hours than I should.

I am “at peace with my self” when hiking and mountain climbing. I have hiked the Grand Canyon “rim to river to rim” in one day over five times, Bear Mountain, Glacier Mountain, and the Grand Tetons. My most memorable day, is the all day (14 hours) hike Patti and I took to Grinnell Glacier, in MT.

Currently serve as Regional Operations Director for CSL, an owner and manager of health care facilities and older adult communities. I have two children and 5 grandkids.

After graduation from Norton School of nursing I worked in various settings including hospital, visiting nurse, medical office management, and my favorite, hospice.

I have two sons and two grandchildren from my first marriage. With my second marriage I inherited four more children, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. My husband, Dick, worked in pharmaceutical sales management.

Since retirement we enjoy time with family and friends and traveling in our RV. Our three children together, dogs, love to go with us. We have been to most of the U. S. except for some of the northwest which we hope to see later this summer. Also, enjoy having the time to volunteer.

After graduation, I attended Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville and graduated in 1968 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and accepted a commission as a Marine Officer.

I married Ann Jones of Fairfax, VA, a U of L grad in June of 1968.

I served as an artillery officer in Vietnam and trained Marine Recruits in San Diego where our daughter Liesl was born in 1971. We moved back to Louisville in 1972 where I have had a number of engineering jobs, including Director of Engineering for KFC.

Our son Eric was born in Louisville in 1975. I continued in the Reserves until I retired in 1997. As a licensed Professional Engineer, I am now an engineering consultant.

My spare time is filled with golf, grandchildren, volunteer firefighting and traveling with my wife of 40 years.

Married Geralene Marie Kelly. We have been blessed with two sons and one daughter, all U of L graduates, and all living in the Louisville area.

Served four years active duty in submarines attaining rank of Lieutenant. Accepted USNR commission in 1972 and served for 24 years retiring as a Captain (O-6) in 1992. In civilian life I was an engineer for the Louisville Water Company. Enjoyed many positions in 30 years at the Louisville Water Company but probably none more than the “spare-time” job of operating and maintaining the Louisville Falls Fountain from 1988-1998.

Upon retiring from LWC I began a new career as Facility Engineer for Southeast Christian Church, a position I have enjoyed for the last nine years. Gerry and I enjoy boating, golf, and the company of our three grandchildren. We are looking forward to our 40th wedding anniversary.

After putting my hubby and myself through grad school (UK/UL), moved to

Bardstown, KY, where I lived for 8 years until my divorce. Five years later, moved to Los Angeles, where my family had migrated. Built a career in Big4 consulting and later in marketing communications for major engineering firms.

I left the corporate world in 1998 and built my own business. I’m also an

artist and spiritual counselor in a metaphysical, non-denominational church.

Life has been good and I am in semi-retirement, looking forward to more travel.

Los Angeles is a vibrant and exciting community in which to live, but I admit that I miss the slower pace of Louisville—not to mention the lack of horrible traffic there!! I recently went to a UofL alumni get together here in Los Angeles and met President James Ramsey. When he heard I graduated from Seneca in ’63, he said, “Gee, you were there in its heyday! My mother was the math teacher.” Nearly blew me away. Of course we all remember Mrs. Ramsey!

I taught 1st grade at Audubon Elementary for 4 years then became the mother of Amy, born 1970, and Ashley, born 1975. Amy now lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband Fred Parker and our 2 grandchildren Alex, 10years, and Libby 7. Ashley works for Waterfront Development Corp. here in Louisville.

I went back to work for 13 years as librarian at Portland Elementary and retired about 9 or 10 years ago. Retirement is great! Now I love to read, play golf, work on genealogy and spoil our Golden Retriever, Jack. I'm also known as "Tim the Tool Man" by my husband who is a great yard guy but not exactly a Mr. Fix It.

After graduation I got a B.A. degree in speech pathology (1967) from Indiana University and an M.A. in early childhood education (1969). I recently got another M.A. in Jewish Art (2006).

Since 1975 I've been living in Israel with my wonderful husband, Ami. We live near Jerusalem in the village of Anatot, home of Jeremiah, the prophet. We have one son, Micha.

All these years I've worked in early childhood, either teaching, lecturing or advising, including 5 years as advisor on early childhood education for the Golan Heights, when we lived there.

In addition to my usual work, I travel around the country working with immigrants from Ethiopia, who have young children. I have written two handbooks for kindergarten teachers. The first, for teachers in developing countries, was translated into seven languages. The second is for teachers of Jewish kindergartens in Russia. I have taught courses in Thailand, the Philippines and Russia,mostly for the Cooperative Division of the Foreign Ministry.

I graduated in 1967 and married Don Gibson. We raised 2 children and were divorced in 1988. I began teaching at Towson University in MD (writing and American Lit from freshman to graduate level) for 13 years.

Marit graduated from there and went on to get a doctorate in Physical Therapy; she and her family are in PA. Mike has his own grassroots-lobbying firm in Alexandria.

I remarried and divorced again. Then, Bob Bush (Seneca first love) convinced me to quit my job and move to Hopkinsville and marry him.

We’ve had 7 fantastic years together (again) enjoying travel to visit family, friends, beaches, other countries. At home we work in our yard and train garden and watch the corn grow. He works in his UPS store, and I volunteer on several boards that oversee foster care in KY. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at there reunion.

Okedookee, here we go: Places I have lived...Louisville, Ky., Valley City, IN (population 27), San Diego, Ca…(that was my favorite place). I lived 3 blocks from the beach, and sold my jewelry from the trunk of my car at the beach. (Did pretty good too!) I was a computer operator at a packaging Co. while I lived there. I have been in 37 states, Mexico and Canada….(I would love to hit the other 11 states, not Hawaii, unless I swim, I hate to fly) but, alas I don’t see that happening, at this point. Married 3 times, all my kids were by 1^st., 2^nd passed away, 3^rd was a self centered, very jealous musician, bye, bye to him. My hobbies are many. I make jewelry (I had a bead shop for a couple of years in the early 90’s). Sometimes I teach a jewelry making class. I taught jewelry making in the Seneca Adult Education night classes for a couple of years. I own an online shop, where I sell my jewelry, and vintage and new jewelry and craft supplies. Painting pictures, and OLDIES MUSIC…OLDIES ROCKKKKKK!

Biography: Worked for non-food divisions of Kroger Co for 7 years after college. District manager Texas and Florida, Division manager Detroit. Got married and tired of travel so we opened a day care center in Louisville while I transitioned into real estate. Sold the center 2 years later. Divorced after 7 years and 1 child, Kelly. 3 years later married my present wonderful wife of 25 years. We also had a daughter, Kati, who is about to graduate from U of L. Our family has been fortunate and traveled a lot over the past decade. Last summer: Italy, Greece, Turkey. This summer: Scandinavia, Germany, Russia. The highlights of my business career were being named RE/MAX International Broker/ Owner of the year and GLAR’s REALTOR of the year. Love to play golf, but have little time to play much. Enjoy spending time working in yard and garden and enjoy reading.

Some of the best years of my life were spent with everyone at Seneca. We were all lucky to have had the teachers, coaches and staff we had at Seneca. They created a great atmosphere for learning, but they also were “Seneca Redskins” and part of the team spirit that made us all part of something very special. No wonder that the Seneca of those days produced so many successes: Diane Sawyer, the Unselds, Don Waddell and Brenda Igo to name just a few. There are many others. I am extremely proud to have been a Seneca Redskin of that era.
