I graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla. in 1967 with a Spanish major and teacher certification. I married Eckerd classmate, Geoffrey Voght, and moved to Ann Arbor, MI. We had 2 lovely children, Carolyn (38) and Nathan (35). I later married Robert Ongaro and we have a son, Anthony. (23). We have 3 charming grandchildren.
I retired in 2006, after 30 years teaching Spanish at Ypsilanti High School. During my career, I especially enjoyed sponsoring many trips to Hispanic countries.
Bob and I continue enjoying travel, movies, gardening and spending time with family, all of whom live nearby. At Seneca I especially enjoyed dances and participating in "Paint Your Wagon". We had quite a senior year with a state basketball championship and Diane Sawyer winning Miss Junior Miss of America!
