Attended Miami University as a freshman before finishing at U of L. Was then drafted into the army in 1967 and served for the two mandatory years (1 year as a corpsman in DaNang, Vietnam). Somehow became a banker until retirement December 2007.
Played tournament bridge and won a North American Championship in1978 as well as represented the US in international competition. My biggest plus from bridge was meeting my wife Ellen in 1979. We have one son.
My
recent leisure time has been spent primarily playing tournament poker (with the
same goal as everyone else—win the World Series.
