Have been married almost 40 years and have 3 super sons and 3 super daughters-in-law. So far we have been blessed with 5 even better Grandpeople.
Have lived most of the time in Louisville except for 5 years in Atlanta. Have spent most of my working life involved with the underground mining and tunneling business in lots of strange spots in the world. Doubt if I ever really retire --- I like what I do and it's good mental stimulation.
Have been involved with our church and new mission work over the years.
Started running a bunch of years ago and still run pretty much every day, though the personal bests have become personal worsts. I ran (and completed) nine marathons. Still would like to run one more in my 60's but don't know if the knees will allow. Keep trying to get the golf handicap into the elusive single digits.
We're trying to visit as many wine regions as we can. Lots of blessings, joy, and peace in my life!!
