After I graduated from Western. I married Cathy Giles. We had a great life in Louisville and Hopkinsville, raising 2 children, Rob and Carey. After Cathy’s father died, I ran the family business, Giles Market, a Hopkinsville landmark, until Walmart came to town and made it impractical. I opened a Mailboxes Etc. franchise (now UPS Store).
After Cathy died, I was visiting the Branches and saw a photo of Strathmore Church graduates in 1963 that included Sharon and me. With the help of friends and Google, I located Sharon in Baltimore, and we’ve been together ever since.
We enjoy living in the country, but we travel a lot to visit our scattered
family, our beach property, train garden conventions, etc. We see Kilijians, Kestlers, Branches, and Diehls often, and are looking forward to seeing other Seneca friends at the reunion.
