After
graduation, I attended Virginia Tech and Western Kentucky University. In 1968
I was drafted by the U.S. Army and served in the artillery with the 1st Cav in Vietnam. After serving in the military, I was employed at Philip Morris for 29 years as a management section supervisor, from which I have been retired for ten years. I am married to the former Cheryl Sanders of Louisville, a retired teacher. Our son Bill is a UK graduate in architecture and resides in Cincinnati. I now enjoy playing golf, reading, traveling, and leisure time on the Gulf Coast of Alabama.
