Occupation/s, Career: Typographer in NYC for 23 years, then ran my own home-based graphic design/typesetting business for 8 years. I’m now working as Golf Shop Manager/Buyer for private country club (Shackamaxon Golf & CC). Great job, like being a camp counselor for rich people, and I get to play golf there too!
Biography:
Went to UK for two-and-a-half years, and at age 50, returned to college, graduating in 1999 with a B.S. in Corporate Communications from the College of Staten Island (CUNY). Better late than never! It was truly one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life to date.
Love to travel, most recently to Prague and Budapest. Enjoy
music and my part-time job at a country club.
Divorced. I live with a wonderful man, a PGA professional, with whom I spend
winters in Fla playing golf. I like to cook, enjoy working out, biking,
walking, seeing my friends. I lived in NYC for 38 years, which was wonderful. I
first moved to the city in 1966 and it was love at first sight. I could never
be too far from that excitement and energy, though I hope to spend more time in
Fla. in the near future. I serve on the Board of Trustees at my condominium
association, and am the editor of the news-letter there.
